Legimus Aeternum - A Latin Reading Group made by Nisha Vishag

Hi All,

As you may know, my name is Nisha Vishag. I'm a sophomore and a Latin 3 student. I am writing this to encourage you all to join Legimus Aeternum. Jasmine, a Latin Club consul, is also going to be there and I hope more LASA Latin students choose to be a part of this.

Legimus Aeternum is a (virtual) fun Latin group that I am starting. It is affiliated with Lupercal and the LASA Latin Club. Right now, we also have members from other parts of the country, so it will be a fun networking opportunity too. 

Prior to meetings, we will read stories, poems, or other texts in Latin. During the meetings, we will discuss what we read, practice speaking in Latin (at a beginner level), and occasionally write stories, poems, or other things of our own in Latin. We can also discuss our original works and get feedback from the group. This group also has resources for competitive Latin tests.

Meetings will be once a month and virtual. The first one is on September 26, and it would be great if you could all be there for it! This reading group will be so much fun, and I hope to see you all there.
